River rafting requires that you navigate a river, usually comprising of rapids and steep bends seated in a boat. The river selected for river rafting purposes usually has high tides most of the time of the year making it impossibly hard to navigate the course. The primary reason why river rafting has become popular is because it offers adrenaline pumping action for the adventurous people. However there is also ample scope for nature lovers to soak in the beauties of nature while floating along lazily, if the river water is calm in nature. River rafting is ideal for exploring landscapes lying along river ways which are otherwise inaccessible by road. It requires almost no effort from the rider just the ability to swim and to cling on to the boat. River rafting is also extremely environment friendly, considering that you are not depleting natural resources in any form when you engage in this activity.
